Sales Manager – High-Speed IPs & ASIC/SoC

  

Summary of the Position

Seeking an experienced and passionate Sales Manager with a strong background in high-speed

IPs (SOC Intellectual Property) and SoC platforms (i.e. HPC, Automotive/ Multimedia, Low

power-IOT) and ASIC design services. This role involves driving revenue growth by selling

Innosilicon semiconductor IP & ASIC products and services and maintaining good relationships

with customers and partners.


Key Responsibilities

● Sales and Business Development: Identifying and securing new business

opportunities, managing existing, and achieving sales targets.

● Customer Relationship Management: Building and maintaining strong relationships

with key stakeholders’ accounts (include foundries, clients and business partners),

understanding customer needs, and providing ongoing support.

● Technical Solutions and Support: Providing technical expertise, recommending

suitable products, and offering troubleshooting support.

● Process Oriented: To follow the Innosilicon sales process to successfully meet and

exceed Innosilicon financial targets and objectives.

● Sales Planning and Strategy: Developing and implementing sales plans to expand the

customer base and drive revenue growth.

● Market Research and Analysis: Understanding market trends, competitor activities,

and customer requirements to inform sales strategies.

● Reporting and Forecasting: Preparing sales reports to Innosilicon management,

providing revenue forecasts, and tracking key performance indicators.

● Market Reporting: Promptly provide effective feedback to the company on customers,

market and competitors.


Required Skills and Qualifications

● Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Business, or a

related field; MBA or advanced degree is a plus.


● 3+ years of experience in technical or product sales preferably in the semiconductor

industry.

● Having a rich set of contacts with fabless semiconductor companies.

● Having good relationships with foundries like TSMC, Samsung, and GF.

● Solid capability to build confidence and develop a trusting relationship with customers.

● Resilient in the face of adversity, with a proven ability to transform challenges into

successful outcomes.

● Demonstrates strong teamwork and a commitment to collective success.

● Being able to function in multi-cultural environment.

● Excellent ability to analyze customer needs, identify solutions, and negotiate pricing and

contracts with customers.

● Strong communication, presentation, and analytical skills, with the ability to

communicate complex technical information.

● Good understanding of 65nm-3nm semiconductor products and applications.

 Understanding low power design methodology is a plus.

 Understanding SoC solutions involving AI & LLM, 2.5D/3D ICs. are a major plus.

 Understanding platform designs is also a great plus.

● Proven experience in developing business and achieving sales goals.

● Strong ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.

● Ability to adapt to changing market conditions and customer requirements.

● Ability to perform effectively under pressure and resolve challenging issues.


Preferred Experience

● Experience in IP& ASIC related data connectivity design in ASICs/SoCs.

● Knowledge of semiconductor IP licensing models.

Working Conditions

● Occasional travel for industry events and customer meetings.

● Based in San Jose with hybrid work mode.

Annual Quota:

Compensation

● Base Salary: negotiable

● Commission: negotiable

● Total Compensation at plan for first year: negotiable

● Potential bonuses, RSU, and pre-IPO equity.

Accelerator (Great Motivator)

● The commission rate will apply until the quota is met.

● All bookings above Quota will use an accelerated Commission rate of xx to calculate the

commission over quota.
